Got the renewal notice yesterday and nearly spit out my coffee. My lower bowl section 108 seats went from

,200 per seat last season to
,850 for next year. That's a 54% jump overnight.

The email cited "increased playoff expectations and market demand" but we haven't made the playoffs since 2022. Sure, we're sitting at 6th seed right now with 12 games left, but charging playoff prices before we even clinch seems premature.

Anyone else get hit with similar increases? Curious what other sections are seeing. My buddy in the 300 level said his went from $480 to $720 per seat.

Part of me wants to keep them since we finally look competitive again, but

,700 for two seats is steep when I'm already dropping money on individual game bets throughout the season.

That's highway robbery, plain and simple. Been watching Chicago sports for 40 years and this is the same garbage the Sox pulled in 2005 after we won it all. Next season they jacked prices 60% and we finished dead last.

Bulls ownership banking on hope instead of results. We're barely above .500 and they're charging like we're the '96 championship team. Pass on those seats and bet the money instead.

I'm keeping mine in section 214 even though they went from $890 to

,340. Here's why: if we make a playoff run, those tickets will be worth
00+ per game on StubHub. Even if we flame out in the first round, I can probably break even selling 8-10 regular season games.

Plus I've been hitting Bulls unders pretty consistently at BUSR when the lines get inflated by home crowd optimism. Made back $400 last month alone on their 4-game homestand. The season tickets give me better read on crowd energy and player matchups.

Wait, so if you buy season tickets you can still bet on the games? I thought there were rules about that. Also how do you figure out if the lines are inflated - do you compare to other sportsbooks or is there a system?

The price jump sounds crazy though. $650 more per seat is like buying a whole extra partial season package.

I dropped my partial plan (10 games) when they raised it from

40 to $520 per seat. That extra
80 per seat goes straight into my marathon training budget now. Just signed up for Boston qualifying races in Milwaukee and Detroit -
65 entry fee each, plus travel costs.

Honestly, watching games at home while doing recovery runs on my treadmill works better for my training schedule anyway. The United Center concourse walking doesn't count as cross-training despite what my Garmin thinks when I hit 8,000 steps during overtime games.

If I want the live experience, I'll grab single games on StubHub for big matchups. Paid $85 for upper bowl seats when the Celtics came to town last month, and that included parking money left over. Season ticket holders were asking

Just hit a decent win on NBA props last week and trying to cash out $950 from an offshore book. They're asking for driver's license, bank statement from last 30 days, and a selfie holding my ID. Submitted everything Tuesday morning but still showing "under review" 4 days later.

Is this normal timing? The site says 24-48 hours for document verification but I'm past that window. This is my first withdrawal over $500 so maybe they're being extra careful, but getting nervous about the delay.

What's been everyone's actual experience with verification times? Trying to figure out if I should be worried or just wait it out.

00+ for the same section that night.

The Bulls front office is betting on FOMO, but my race calendar takes priority over overpriced basketball seats. Rather put that

,800 toward a spring marathon training block in Arizona where I can actually see improvement in my splits.

Did the math on my fitness spending vs entertainment budget after seeing these Bulls prices. My annual gym membership (

,200), nutrition supplements ($480), and race entries (
40) total

,020 - still less than two Bulls season tickets at the new price.

,020 gets me 260+ workout sessions, measurable VO2 max improvements, and actual health ROI. Meanwhile those Bulls seats get you 41 games watching other people exercise, plus overpriced arena food that destroys your macro targets.

Been tracking my heart rate during Bulls games at home - averages 78 BPM even during close games. Compare that to my HIIT sessions hitting 165+ BPM for sustained periods. The entertainment value per dollar spent on fitness wins every time.

Those season ticket prices are insane, but here's a different angle - I've been using that Bulls betting budget at Thunderpick for their live NBA props instead. Their quarter-by-quarter player props have way better value than paying premium for seats.

Last Tuesday's Bulls-Pacers game, I hit DeMar DeRozan over 6.5 assists at +140 in the third quarter when he was already at 5 assists with 8 minutes left. Made

00 bet while watching from my couch. That's like getting paid to watch instead of paying
,850 for the privilege.

The season ticket price jump is just another example of Chicago sports teams taking advantage of fan loyalty. Put that money to work instead of handing it over for inflated seat prices.
