 Tom (Barney) Barnard leads 1422 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 with over 27 years of experience in professional baseball where he served as a scout/ minor league instructor with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Barney also spent nine-years at Kishwaukee Community College where he coached 58 MLB draftees and helped 60+ players advance to play in the NCAA.

Barney is assisted by various former baseball players from all competitive levels. During the offseason, The Barn is privileged to have current and former MiLB and MLB athletes, as well as current collegiate athletes, as a part of our staff.

The Barn offers a highly competitive environment that prioritizes generating exposure for our athletes so that they may continue playing baseball at a higher level and achieve their goals in both life and on the baseball field.

 Our teams play in the I-94 league which is one of the highest ranked travel programs in the Chicagoland area. We also compete in several tournaments with our affiliations such as The Chicago Scout Association.
